Education:
- In 1994, she graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade
- In 2000, she passed the specialist exam in neurology
- In 2002, she defended her master’s thesis in the field of neuropathies
- In 2010, she defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of myasthenia gravis
- In 2018, she was elected to the position of assistant professor for the subject of neurology at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Belgrade
Work experience:
- Since 1996, she has been employed at the Department of Neuromuscular Diseases and Spinal Cord Diseases of the Neurology Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Serbia (UKCS).
Professional training:
In 2016, she continued training in the field of neuro-oncology, paraneoplastic neurological syndromes and autoimmune encephalitis at the Neuro-Oncology Department of the University Hospital in Lyon, France, with a special emphasis on the modern approach to their diagnosis and treatment. During her work so far, she has participated in numerous national and international projects in the field of acquired and hereditary neuromuscular diseases, as evidenced by previous publications in journals with the SCI (SSCI) list.
During 2002/2003, as part of the project of the European Association of Neurologists, she trained in clinical and experimental neuroimmunology at the University Neurological Clinic in Milan for the application of neuroimmunological methods in the field of diagnosis of inflammatory neuropathies and paraneoplastic neurological syndromes.
