- In 1976, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade in 1976
- In 1984, he passed the specialist exam in general surgery with excellent results
Work experience:
- since 1979 he has been employed at the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia
- from 1985 to 1996, he was an assistant at the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade.
- until 2011 head of the Department for early breast cancer and reconstructive surgery
- until 2013 head of the Department of Breast Surgery
- director of the Clinic for Surgical Oncology of the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia.
Training and memberships:
He actively participated in numerous professional meetings, symposiums and congresses in the country and abroad.
He is a member of the Association of Oncological Surgeons of Serbia, the Cancer and Surgical Section of the Serbian Medical Society and the European Association of Oncological Surgeons.
